Andy has 12 years of experience in holistic health, corrective exercise, & rehabilitation. Andy is a C.H.E.K Practitioner Level 2, C.H.E.K Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach Level 3, Advanced Level Metabolic Typing Advisor, International Youth Conditioning Specialist, Certified GTS instructor, and a Strength and Conditioning Consultant. Along with his lifetime education in Kinesiology, Sports Science, and Sports psychology he is an Executive Chef and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, and is recognized by many strength and conditioning coaches as one of the world's experts on Nutrition for Peak Performance.
During the past 12 years, Andy has dedicated himself to doing research and development in corrective exercise for rehabilitation and posture, and has come to a deep understanding of the many factors involved with treating individuals with back pain, arthritis, and osteoporosis.
Andy recently spent 18 months of research in the study of diet and exercise and its effect on physical and mental performance at the C.H.E.K Institute in Vista, California.
Andy has coached professional, collegiate, high school and youth athletes in wrestling, baseball, football, tennis, softball. He has conditioned mixed martial artists for 25 years in Florida, California, Pennsylvania and New England. He has directed and coached Speed, Power, and Agility Camps and Wrestling Camps throughout the country.
Andy has coached numerous champions including 8 All-Americans and one National champion, along with numerous championship sports teams. He is well known as one of the pioneers of women's wrestling in the U.S. His New Hampshire State High School Girl's Wrestling team and its dominating wrestling gained national media attention in 1997 and 1998, and were featured on the major television networks and newspapers.
Andy developed and directed the government-funded Flying Food Factory and the Eating Place, a restaurant and food manufacturer which trained and prepared physically and mentally handicapped adults for jobs in mainstream food service companies. The program received national acclaim from the health industry and media, not only for its success as a business and training facility but also for its results from a study. Andy instituted the monitoring and recording of the behavior of select clients when their diet was changed, removing sugar and food additives as cited in "The Feingold Cookbook for Hyperactive Children".
Andy is a Nutrition and Peak Performance consultant to professional strength and conditioning coaches throughout the world and a mentor to many personal trainers and physical therapists. He is committed to helping clients achieve optimal health and performance in their life, occupation, and sport using his lifelong experience and corrective holistic exercise and nutrition protocols of the C.H.E.K. Institute.
